The Met Open Domain Project
The project involves taking open-domain archival images from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and transforming and incorporating them into contemporary design layouts that would appeal to modern audiences. The project aims to give new life to historical images and to showcase the power of design to reimagine and repurpose archival material.
